Scott Morongell, Managing Principal
Scott Morongell is a real estate entrepreneur and managing principal at Morongell Capital, LLC. His passion for real estate lies in providing residents with a clean, safe, and affordable place to call home while giving investors an opportunity to invest in a risk-adjusted hard asset. Scott currently has a portfolio of 650+ units worth over $78,000,000. At Morongell Capital, Scott is focused on acquisitions and investor relations. Scott is a member of the FORBES Real Estate Council, an invitation-only community for executives in real estate.
Scott’s background is in Sales & Marketing – spending time at one of the world’s largest printing companies. In his short stint, he’s sold printing to a Fortune 15 company, generating $11,000,000 in sales in three years. Prior to sales, he played 3 years of professional ice hockey in the U.S. and Europe. He received a BS in Business Marketing from Liberty University where he was an Academic All-American.
andrew campbell, board member
Andrew Campbell is a native Austinite and real estate entrepreneur who broke into real estate investing first as a passive investor in 2009. In 2012 he transitioned into active investing and management of a personal portfolio that grew to 76 units across Austin and San Antonio. He currently controls a portfolio of 1,581 units worth $135+ million. At Wildhorn, he is focused on Acquisitions in his native Texas markets and maintaining investor relations, leveraging his marketing background to build long-term relationships.
Andrew’s background is in Market Research & Brand Strategy, spending time in both advertising agencies and emerging technology consultancies, where he was most recently a partner at an award winning app developer. He received a BS in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Baylor University.
reed goossens, board member
Reed Goossens is a real estate entrepreneur and Managing Partner of Wildhorn Capital. As a native Australian, Reed moved to the U.S. to pursue his investing career in early 2012. Reed is a qualified chartered structural engineer and project manager. Since 2007, Reed has been involved with large scale commercial construction and real estate development projects, with a combined worth over $500 million; in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.—highlighted by his work in London in anticipation of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Reed’s expertise includes project management, property development, and key stakeholder management. At Wildhorn, he is responsible for asset management and all things financial, including accounting and underwriting. He is also the host of top rated real estate investing podcast, Investing in the US – An Aussie’s Guide to US Real Estate, wherein he interviews other distinguished real estate entrepreneurs about their success and help guide other intentional investor who want to successfully break into the US.
